Certifications & Accreditations
The professional standards and manufacturer relationships that underpin the quality and reliability of our work — and what they mean for the projects we manage.
Manufacturer Accreditations
We hold authorised dealer or specification partner status with our core equipment brands. This means direct access to technical support, accurate and current product specifications, competitive trade pricing and priority logistics support.

Winterhalter
Authorised dealer. Water treatment specification support, marine installation guidance and priority parts access.
Miele Professional
Authorised specification partner for professional galley and laundry applications.
Dometic Marine
Authorised marine dealer. Marine refrigeration specification and installation guidance.
Electrolux Professional

Regulatory Competence
Our work is conducted in accordance with the applicable regulatory frameworks for commercial superyacht operation.
SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea)
We design galley specifications that comply with SOLAS fire safety requirements — fixed suppression systems, extraction ventilation standards, gas elimination and fire detection. We liaise with the vessel's surveyor and class society to ensure compliance is confirmed at specification stage, not at survey.
MARPOL (Marine Pollution Prevention)
All galley designs and operational recommendations from The Superyacht Galley are produced with reference to MARPOL Annex IV and Annex V requirements — galley wastewater management, food waste disposal and garbage management planning.
HACCP (Food Safety)
We design galley equipment specifications that support HACCP compliance — temperature monitoring capability, blast chilling capacity, warewashing standards and food storage organisation. For commercially operated vessels, HACCP documentation is increasingly a flag state and port authority requirement.
Flag State Requirements
We have working knowledge of the galley-relevant requirements of the major commercial yacht flag states — MCA (UK), Cayman Islands, Marshall Islands, Bahamas, Malta and others. Requirements vary; we advise on the specific requirements for your vessel's flag and trade area.
Industry Memberships
The Superyacht Galley is a member of the principal superyacht industry associations, maintaining current knowledge of industry developments, regulatory changes and best practice standards.
We attend the major superyacht industry events — METSTRADE, Monaco Yacht Show, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show — maintaining direct relationships with equipment manufacturers, shipyards, management companies and industry regulators.
Professional Standards and Accreditations
In an industry where the stakes are high — commercially, operationally and from a compliance perspective — the professional standing of the people you work with matters. The certifications and accreditations held by The Superyacht Galley are not decorative. They reflect genuine training, genuine manufacturer relationships and genuine adherence to the standards that govern professional marine galley work.
Below, we set out the principal accreditations and standards that underpin our work, and what each one means in practice for the projects we manage.
Manufacturer Accreditations
We maintain formal accreditations with the major equipment manufacturers we specify. These relationships mean direct access to technical documentation, factory training, pre-launch product briefings and dedicated support channels. When a technical question arises on-site — during commissioning, or after handover — we have direct lines into the manufacturer's technical teams rather than going through a general customer service channel.
Marine Compliance Standards
All specifications we produce are reviewed against the applicable SOLAS, MCA and flag state requirements for the vessel. Our knowledge of marine fire safety, ventilation requirements and food safety standards for vessels means our specifications arrive ready for MCA or class review, not requiring revision after submission.
